Inspired by the warmth and sensuality of Mediterranean living, this piece invites the viewer to romanticise the everyday: lemons on a windowsill, sunlight on skin, the quiet confidence of being fully present in your body.

The figure is grounded, relaxed, and radiant - a symbol of self-love, femininity, and resilience. Painted during a time when I was learning to let go of hustle culture and reconnect with myself, this work reflects a shift from striving to simply being. The lemon becomes a symbol of vitality - both sweet and sharp - reminding us that joy and challenge often coexist.
